Special Events:
Saturday, February 11, 6:00 pm: Ziti With My Sweetie Come with your sweetie and family and enjoy a pasta dinner with music, to help you get that romantic feel. With our own Sunday School children helping out, this is guaranteed to be a fun time for all. $10 per couple, $20 per family. Please RSVP before the day just so we can plan enough food. Call the church office for more information.

Ash Wednesday (February 22): The church is opened all day from 9 am until the closing worship that night. There will be a shortened (30-minute) service for those who would like to attend. These services will be at 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 5 pm. Ashes will be available all day. A pastor will be available all day. 7:30 pm: Traditional Ash Wednesday Service
Wednesday Night Services in Lent: 7 pm: A reflective service
Ongoing Events:
Alcoholics Anonymous: Redeemer Lutheran Church and Nursery School is proud to host and provide a safe space for members of AA four nights a week (Monday through Thursday). This group is not affiliated with the any religion but they unite together in the spiritual quest of admitting a higher being that will help them overcome addiction in their lives. This is one of the largest AA gatherings in Queens County. A women's group is offered on Thursday nights. Call the church (718-468-8868) for availability.
Cub/Boy Scouts of America, Pack/Troop 158: The scouting program is geared to training young boys to become young responsible men, and Redeemer Lutheran Church and Nursery School couldn't be any happier about the success of this program, which is why we are proud to host scouts. With several Eagle Scouts over the past couple of years and with a quickly growing group, this is the place to be Friday evenings, starting at 7:30 pm.
Nursery School: We here at Redeemer Lutheran Church and Nursery School proudly support the efforts of teaching young children effectively and efficiently. With half-day and full-day care available and in support the New York City's UPK program (which will subsidize the cost of a half-day program for children who are four years of age), we are fully accredited and have years of experience. Most of our teachers have been with us for over 5 years, and the parents are a great support. We encourage you to check out the webpages dedicated to the nursery school and to call for more information.
